Paper Submission

The full version of the selected abstracts will be published in the proceedings by the Vieweg & Teubner publishing house.

Instructions for authors:

The deadline for the final version is July 20th 2008 and the page limit are 15 pages in total.

Depending on which environment was used to generate the paper, there are different ways on how to prepare the final version.

Word:
If you are using Word, please use the template book.dot to transform your paper into the right format. (Sorry, but the .dot template has to ordered from This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it )

OpenOffice:
If you are using OpenOffice, please follow the structure of sample_paper.doc (or sample_paper.pdf) for you final version. You can send the OpenOffice document then.

LaTeX:
If you are using LaTeX, please send the following files:
i) the LaTeX-code
ii) a PDF version of your paper
iii) all figures in separate files
Please follow the structure of sample_paper.doc (or sample_paper.pdf).
That is, pay attention that you
- use two different layers for headings
- have an abstract and the information about the authors as in the template
- etc.
However, you don't need to stick closely to the template's format, e.g., font size, line spacing, etc. This will be adjusted by the publisher.

    We welcome original and innovative papers from academic, government, and industry:
    Authors should submit an abstract first. The abstracts should be in an appropriate format and at most 4 pages excluding bibliography using at least 11-point fonts with reasonable margins. Papers not conforming to these instructions may risk rejection without considering their merit.
    At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register with the Conference and present the paper. For authors presenting multiple papers, one normal registration is valid for up to two papers.

    For the invited participants in the panels
    a short (1-2 pages) position statement on the topic of the panel is expected, submitted through submission mechanism and marked with the title of the panel, to which they were invited to participate.
